Finally Done

Today I finished my online classes. I have no greater feeling of accomplishment than right now. I reflect on my journey through two different universities and multiple dance instructors and am thankful for experience, but more than ready to move on to the next chapter. I will look forward to every day with a grateful heart. Savannah I hope will bring new opportunities worth while for me.

Time for Family

Today my family and I visited the Colony Café. (Also known as the Cat Café) As a family that loves cats, what better way to spend our last day altogether than by petting cats while sipping coffee beverages? I really enjoyed spending this time with my family considering the three of us do not get to do things as a family anymore. My sister is a sophomore at Syracuse University in New York and shortly I will be moving to Georgia. As I mentioned in previous blog posts, the next time I see my sister could be for her birthday in June. There aren't any predetermined future dates influencing my life anymore. Therefore, any time spent together is better than no time at all.

With Honor

Yesterday I received a tattoo in honor of my grandma who would of been 91 January 11th. I realize  she probably wouldn't have liked the tattoo, but as I move forward with my life, I wanted a permanent mark on my body in remembrance of her. I got her initials and a small green lollipop on my ankle. The green lollipop was something she would always give me when I'd visit her. By having that little, sweet, piece of candy, it described my visit to eastern Pennsylvania perfectly. Sweet.

Moving On

Today I woke up at noon and realized that in 18 days, my life will be changing hopefully for the better. I have many people and a loving supportive job that I will be leaving behind, but I feel like the future is telling me more than ever to move forward. Although I have loved teaching ballet in Ohio, I feel there are many more potential students to teach in Georgia. Savannah is a very artsy little town and I feel like it has a passion for the arts. Here's to the future.

The Concept of Time

As a recent college graduate, I'm finding that the concept of time is meaning more to me than it ever did before. I no longer have the rigidity of a schedule where my attendance is required at class and I am finding new and interesting ways to make use of this new found time. I have time for family and friends. Time to connect with myself and others. And time to make whatever changes necessary to benefit my future self. I'm excited for what the future may hold as I enter this new and uncertain time in my life. There are new beginnings in ends.
